Thumbs Up for Chili!

Dear Families,

It was nice to finally have some warmer temperatures this week.  Hopefully after break, we will have more warm, sunny days!

By far the most exciting part of the week was our state float parade!  Thank you to Brandi Profeta, Jess Riina and Heather Bush for volunteering during the float building process!

This week in Farm to School we chopped celery and red onion, and peeled carrots to help make a veggie chili.  Yum!  This was our last Farm to School with Miss Meg, as she is going back to school to become an elementary teacher.  Good luck, Miss Meg!

Our read-a-thon was a huge success!  Such a fun way to go into vacation!

I informed the children today that after vacation, we will be having a new student in our class.  Klosie Cornell will be joining us from Morrisville.  We looking forward to welcoming her to second grade!
